DVIDA Examiner

I am National DVIDA® Examiner for all levels of American and International styles, and am available to administer exams in-person or via Skype. Please contact me to schedule an exam.

Examiner Rates

  • $100/hr

  • $35 for 15 minute mini-exams

  • $60 for 30 minute exams

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9am-5pm PST

Certification Training

Preparing for a certification exam can be a daunting task. I will give you unparalleled insight, clarity, and a deep understanding of the principles so that your studying becomes efficient and effective. You will arrive at your examination totally prepared and with a strong sense of confidence.  I offer professional dance instruction in both American and International styles in preparation for the Associate through Grand Master exams. Training is available at my studio (or via video conference), or you may create customized group training sessions (at my studio or yours).

Training Rates

$135 each or $625 for 5 lessons

Business Consulting

Learning the business side of the dance industry is vital for all dance studio owners and teachers. I spent more than seventeen years owning and running ballroom dance studios in San Francisco, including the San Francisco School of Ballroom Dancing and the Metronome Ballroom. The Metronome was one of the largest and most successful dance studios in the country, grossing $1.5 million per year. I credit my success as a dance studio owner to regularly engage business consultants to support and guide me in every aspect of running a business.

I am  available to teach you the ins and outs of running a successful dance business. Consultations available via phone, video conference (Skype, Facetime, etc.), or on-location at your studio.

Judging

Diane is a registered Adjudicator for NDCA sanctioned competitions. She is also on the Credential Examination Board with the NDCA which certifies candidates for their judging credentials.
